Brent Davis

Brent-DavisBrent Davis graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science in Music Education and a Bachelor of Arts in Performance. He has also completed a Masters in Music Performance in Saxophone at the University of North Carolina Greensboro.

Brent is an active MENC, NCMEA, CDBA and TI:ME member. While studying with Dr. Keith Young at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, he was awarded the 2002 Fischoff National Competition Bronze Medal as a member of “A Few Good Reeds” saxophone quartet. His past teachers include Dr. Keith Young, Dr. Steven Stusek, and Susan Fancher.

He is currently a full-time band teacher at Mendenhall Middle School in Guilford County, and a private saxophone instructor at the Music Academy of North Carolina. Brent performs regularly with jazz, blues, and beach bands. In his spare time he loves to fly-fish, and root for his favorite baseball and football teams.
